The planar secondary enveloping worm gear pair is formed by enveloping the tooth surface of the toroidal worm gear through relative circular motion with a plane as the mother surface, and then enveloping the tooth surface of the worm gear through relative motion with the tooth surface of the worm gear as the mother surface

1. The worm gear is made of alloy steel 40Cr, 42CrMo, 38CrMoAI quenching and ion nitriding treatment. After hardening treatment, the tooth surface is precisely ground, with high hardness (HRC>58), low roughness (Ra>0.8), high tooth profile accuracy, and smooth surface

2. The meshing between the worm gear and the worm wheel is a multi tooth contact, with a large tooth contact area
